What is a park model?
Park models are recreational vehicles used primarily as destination camping units rather than traveling camping units. When set, park models may be connected to utilities necessary for operation of installed fixtures and appliances. It's built on a single chassis which is mounted on wheels.
Size: 8 - 12 feet wide by 30 - 35 feet long (maximum of 400 square feet).
Cost (without tow vehicle):
- Average: $18,500
- Range: Most available from $13,500 - $38,000 new and $3,000 - $15,000 used, depending on age, make and wear and tear.
- Sleeps: Up to eight people (depending on model)
